Hyderabad, July 29 (PMI): Karnataka Assembly Speaker and senior Congress leader Ramesh Kumar on Monday turned emotional while taking part in the funeral procession of former Union minister S. Jaipal Reddy. Tears were rolling down his eyes when he was carrying the body of Jaipal Reddy on his shoulders.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Kumar said he always treated Jaipal Reddy as his political mentor. He recalled that he used to discuss many things with his senior colleague in the party. He would always depend on Jaipal Reddy for his advice on critical issues. CLP leader of Karntaka Assembly Siddaramaiah also took part in the funeral procession. (PMI)
