Kamareddy District Police Review Meeting — SP Rajesh Chandra Emphasizes Action on Pending Cases

Kamareddy, November 23 (PMINEWS) District Superintendent of Police M. Rajesh Chandra held the monthly crime review meeting at the District Police Office and instructed all police officials to ensure effective investigation of cases, maintain public safety, and make strict preparations for the upcoming local body elections.

During the meeting, SP Rajesh Chandra sought detailed reports from DSPs, CIs, and SIs on pending cases and personally reviewed the case files. He directed the officials to prepare a special plan of action to dispose of long-pending cases at the earliest.

The SP stressed that SHOs must regularly visit all villages within their jurisdiction and stay fully informed about local issues and developments. Village-level police personnel were instructed to maintain strong connections within their assigned villages, gather timely information, and remain alert to suspicious activities. Strict surveillance of rowdy-sheeters and suspected individuals was also emphasized.

SP Rajesh Chandra highlighted the need for continuous public awareness programmes on women’s safety, road accidents, financial crimes, and online fraud. He ordered that Drink-and-Drive checks be conducted regularly and strict legal action be taken against those driving under the influence and causing accidents.

He added that responding immediately to complaints received on Dial 100 and assisting victims on the spot is the police’s foremost responsibility. Issuing directions for heightened vigilance during the upcoming local body elections, the SP said that it is the duty of the police to ensure the elections are held in a peaceful, transparent, and free environment.

The meeting was attended by Additional SP K. Narsimhulu Reddy, ASP B. Chaitanya Reddy, DSPs Srinivas Rao and Vittal Reddy, Special Branch Inspector Madhusudhan, DCRB Inspector Murali, PCR Inspector Naresh, CCS Inspector Srinivas, along with Circle Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors.
