Jupally promises 10 crore jobs by 2022

Hyderabad : Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today said that Telangana should become ideal state at national level in providing employment through offering need based training skills to youth. The minister remarked that the state stood first in providing training skills to youth.

Participating at “World Youth Skills Day” celebrations, the minister stressed the need for imparting training and skills among the youth and students to get them suitable jobs. He said that there is no dearth of job opportunities in the state of Tealangana and about 10 crore of jobs will be created by 2022. The state government is taking required measures in that direction. Telangana has bagged second position in creating employment opportunities last year and will try to become number one this year he said. About 18000 students or youth got training and skills and got placement through central scheme of Deendayal Grameena Kaushal Yojana, he said.

“Now we have prepared a plan to make the state number one in creating jobs and employment Rao said adding that a plan is on to open up training centers in every district. We have urged the Centre to give training and skills to 50000 more youth than it already allotted. It is time for encouraging the students and youth to get need based training and skills to get suitable employment in companies and industries the minister said. The TRS Government has come up with unique industrial policy attracting companies to rope in with investments. Several world noted companies are showing interest to open their business in Telangana as the government provides them all facilities in a hassle free manner he said.

As we have achieved a target to provide more employment opportunities last year, now the time is for focusing on to fill up the gap between the institutions and the industry. This problem will be resolved once the youth and students get necessary training and skills he hoped. We have achieved statehood and can achieve anything through persistent efforts, Rao said.
