Jubilee Hills Bypoll: Government Declares Holiday on November 11

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (PMI):(Karrar Abedi) In view of the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, the government has declared November 11 as a public holiday for the constituency. Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana issued an official notification on Saturday announcing the decision.

According to the order, all government and private offices, educational institutions, and commercial establishments within the Jubilee Hills constituency limits will remain closed on polling day.

Special Holiday for Polling Stations on November 10
Collector Harichandana clarified that November 10, the day before polling, will be a holiday only for schools and offices designated as polling stations. On polling day, November 11, however, the holiday will apply to all institutions across the constituency.

Limited Holiday on Counting Day
Vote counting will take place on November 14, and a limited holiday will be applicable only to areas where counting centers are located.

Authorities also instructed managements to grant a paid holiday to employees required to vote or perform election duties. Officials said the decision aims to ensure the smooth conduct of the by-election process without any disruptions. (pressmediaofindia,com)
