| J&K: Encounter is on between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama distFile PicIn Jammu & Kashmir, a gunfight has broken out between terrorists and joint security forces in Aripal Tral area of Pulwama district this morning. Security sources said that a cordon and search operation (CASO) was launched on the basis of tip off about the presence of terrorist group in the area. They said as the forces zeroed in on the suspected place, the hiding terrorists opened indiscriminate fire triggering gunfight. Sources said that two to three militants have been trapped while gunfight is going on. Details are awaited. |
