Hyderabad Oct 28 (PMI): The Jagadgirigutta Police Station received a complaint lodge by one Smt M. Kunuru Roja W/O K. Anil Kumar R/O Papireddy Nagar, Jagadgirigutta, Cyberabad, on 17-09-2022 at 0730 Hrs, stating that at about 0450 hours she came out from her house to throw garbage outside along with her son. After throwing garbage while she was returning one unknown person came on scooty and physically assaulted her by catch holding her neck and misbehaved with her, and he snatched her pusthelatadu, wg about 6 grams from her neck. He also tried to snatch earrings but failed, since she raised hues and cries he fled away with the booty from there. As per the contents of complaint a case in Crime No. 666/2022 U/s 354-A, 392 IPC was registered in PS Jagadgirigutta.
The DCP Balanagar Zone and ACP Balanagar formed special team consisting Team -I CI CCS Balanagar, Team -II Consisting SHO Jagadgiriguta PS, DI Jagadgirigutta and team. On 28-10-2022 at 0530hrs under the able guidelines of superior officers above team I and II apprehended the accused person at Devamma Basthi, jagadgirigutta. On interrogation/enquiry, the above said accused person confessed to have committed Chain Snatching/Robbery in the limits of Jagagirigutta Police Station.
Under the supervision of Sri. A. Gangaram, ACP, Balanagar Division, and under the guidance of Sri. P. Saidulu, SHO & DI Sri. Rama Krishna Crime staff had done good work and recovered gold pusthelatadu wg, about 6 grams, worth of Rs: 10,000, HONDA ACTIVA VEHICLE Br.No:AP10BC6911, Engine No: JC44E5703725, Chassis No: ME4JC448MC7703798 and MOBILE PHONE REDMI NOTE-9, IMEI NO: 860377043037606.
