Hyderabad; April 1, 2022 ( PMI): The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team along with Afzalgunj Police, Hyderabad near MGBS, in the limits of Afzalgunj PS apprehended an Inter-State Drug (Ganja) peddler Samabothula Mani Teja, Native of Rajahmundry, AP State, wherein the accused is indulging in illegally smuggling Ganja from Rajahmundry, AP State to Hyderabad, Telangana State via private transport vehicle in order to deliver to the customer on higher price to gain easy money illegally.
DETAILS OF ACCUSED:
Samabothula Mani Teja S/o. S. Nagendra Babu, age. 19 yrs Occ. Pvt job N/o. Rajahmundry Town, Andhra Pradesh State, (Drug peddler )
Seized Narcotic substance drug :
1) 1 KG 500 grams of Dry Ganja
2) One Cell phone
Brief facts of the case :
Accused Samabothula Mani Teja is a native of Rajahmundry Town, AP State. He discontinued 7th class and doing as a Mineral Water service boy for his livelihood. He was addicted to consuming Ganja for two years and purchasing Ganja sachets from local agents at Rajahmundry consuming Ganja with his friends. Due to insufficient income to gain easy money illegally by selling Ganja to needy customers, he came into contact with a Ganja supplier namely Gowtham (Absconding) R/o.Rajahmundry Town, AP State, and agreed to transport Ganja packets from Rajahmundry to Hyderabad on a commission basis.
As per their plan the supplier Gowtham handed over the Ganja (three packets) to the accused Samabothula Mani Teja at Rajahmundry in order to deliver it to a customer near MGBS.
Accordingly, Samabothula Mani Teja boarded a Private bus at Kotipally Bus Stand, Rajahmundry along with a Ganja packet concealed underclothes in a bag, got down at MGBS bus station, and waited to deliver the Ganja bag to the customer.
Acting on tip-off Task Force North Zone team along with Afzalgunj Police apprehended the accused Samabothula Mani Teja and seized 1 KG 500 grams of Ganja from his possession. In this case, the main supplier is Gowtham R/o. Rajahmundry at large.
The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri. P.Radhakishan Rao(OSD), Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad by K. Nageswar Rao, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team with the assistance of SIs K.Srikanth, B.Ashok Reddy, M.Anantha Chary, B.Aravind Goud, and North Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad.
