Hyderabad’20 Feb :(PMI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Etala Rajender has strongly criticized the behavior of the officials. Speaking, he warned that IAS officers should not act like slaves of politicians. Governments last only for five years, but IAS officers will be in power for 35 years, so they should perform their duties in accordance with the democratic system.
In his speech, Etala recalled that some officials who worked in favor of government leaders in the past faced serious consequences. He warned that if they obey the words of politicians and abuse their power, their future would be adversely affected. He suggested that the government should work legally and not just obey the orders of the ruling parties.
Etala made it clear that strict action would be taken against those who acted against the government’s rules. He warned that they are maintaining the saffron book and that anyone who abuses power will definitely face serious consequences in the future. He advised officials, who are supposed to act as public servants, to remember that if they turn against the ruling class, they will face imprisonment.(PMI)
