Hyderabada, Nov.6 (PMI): Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay commented that he had successfully ran the party after taking over the post of State party president. He along with party workers and followers filed his nomination for the Karimnagar Assembly seat today.
On the occasion, a rally was organised by the BJP in Karimnagar. Sanjay along with MLA Raja Singh participated in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay said the party had won the Dubbaka, GHMC and Teacher MLC elections held during his tenure as the State president. He said he had undertaken a 150-day ‘Praja Sangrama pada Yatra’ across the State and hoisted the saffron party flag across Telangana.
He said “30 cases of theft were filed against me when I fought against the leak of TSPSC question papers in the State. They tried to label me as a communalist. It was the BJP that fought for dharma, Raja Singh and I always fought for dharma. We have never given up on the saffron flag. BJP workers should ensure the casting of 10 votes in the elections,” he added. He requested the party leaders to extend full support to him for the next 24 days.
Sanjay claimed that he had succeeded in converting Hindu votes into BJP’s vote bank. He claimed that he had brought the smart city funds and national highway funds to Karimnagar. “If there was no support from the BJP, would Telangana State come into existence?” he asked.
He said the entire Telangana government was waiting for the result of Karimnagar assembly seat election. He called upon voters for sending those who fought for the people to the assembly. He alleged that minister Gangula Kamalakar and his followers were the care of address for land grabbing. “We have to show what our vote bank is. If the BRS wins here in Karimnagar, the next mayor will be given to MIM party,” he predicted. (PMI)
