Hyderabad’Oct 07 (PMI) In the old city area of Hyderabad, during heavy rainfall last night, a portion of the historic building Machhli Kaman suddenly collapsed. One person was injured in the incident, but fortunately, there were no major casualties.
Upon receiving the Information, Mir Zulfqar Ali, local MLA from Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, reached the site and instructed the relevant departments to take immediate safety measures, clear the debris, and erect barriers around the affected area to prevent further damage.
Meanwhile, GHMC teams were also deployed and residents were advised to avoid approaching dilapidated structures. Intermittent rainfall continues in the city, and the Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain over the next 24 hours, which has caused waterlogging in low-lying areas and affected traffic movement.
