Hyderabad, Sept. 14 (PMI): In a tragic and shocking incident, a man in Hyderabad has been arrested for killing his three-year-old son and disposing of the body in the Musi River.
According to police, the accused, identified as Mohd Akbar, initially lodged a complaint at the Bandlaguda police station claiming that his son, Anaas, had been missing for the past three days.
However, during the investigation, police discovered that Akbar himself had strangled the child and thrown the body into the Musi river. Officials said Akbar confessed to the crime, stating that he was unable to bear the medical expenses for his son, who had been suffering from health complications.
The Bandlaguda police have launched efforts to retrieve the body from the river. A case has been registered against Akbar under relevant sections for murder and destruction of evidence. (PMI)
