Hyderabad, October 26: A speeding car overturned on the JNTU flyover on Sunday morning, causing panic among commuters. The incident took place around 7:50 a.m. when the car, traveling from the Rythu Bazar junction, lost control while ascending the flyover.
The vehicle first hit a road divider and then collided with a two-wheeler before overturning. Police rushed to the scene and carried out rescue operations. The car had five occupants — two men and three women.
The two men were identified as Sudanese students residing in Shamshabad while pursuing their studies in Hyderabad. They have been taken into custody for questioning. The three women reportedly left the spot immediately by booking another cab.
Authorities are investigating whether the vehicle was rented or borrowed and are reviewing CCTV footage to understand the exact circumstances of the accident. Police have urged drivers to exercise caution, particularly on flyovers.(pressmediaofindia.com)
