Hyderabad-4 Jan’2026 (PMI) Hyderabad witnessed a tragic incident in Nizampet when a three-year-old boy, Arjun, accidentally fell into a swimming pool and lost his life.
Arjun’s parents, who reside in Chintal, had left him at his grandmother’s house in the Vertex Prime gated community in Hyderabad during a series of holidays. While playing in the apartment premises, the boy accidentally fell into the swimming pool. Since no one noticed immediately, he drowned.
After some time, when he was not found, family members searched the area and spotted him floating in the pool. He was rushed to a private hospital in Nizampet, but doctors confirmed that he had already passed away.
Police, upon receiving information, reached the spot and conducted an investigation. They registered a case and are probing the circumstances. Arjun’s parents expressed grief, stating that the absence of caretakers and supervisors at the pool, especially during the weekend, as well as the lack of CCTV monitoring, led to the tragic loss of their son.
