HyderabadFeb 2 (PMI) A 29-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in Uppal after suffering heavy financial losses in online trading, police said on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Kasoju Ravichandra, a resident of South Swaroopnagar in Uppal and a native of Marutinagar in Achampet, Nagarkurnool district.
According to the police, Ravichandra had been engaged in online long-term trading for the past five years. He reportedly incurred significant losses, which led to severe mental stress.
On Sunday, Ravichandra is said to have procured a chemical substance through an online platform and consumed it at his residence. Family members found him unconscious and rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Following a complaint, the Uppal police registered a case and shifted the body for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to the incident.(pressmediaofindia.com)
