Hyderabad, April.24 (PMI): Hundreds of people today joined the ruling TRS at Pandya Nayak Tanda in Chivvemla mandal of Suryapet district. Nizamabad MP Kavitha welcomed over 100 families of Scheduled Castes into the TRS fold who have been traditional supporters of the Congress.Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy and MLA Rasamayi Balakishan were present. Kavitha welcomed the new-comers with traditional pink shawls. Those joined the ruling party were workers of the Singareni Collieries regions I and II. Besides, some 100 TD and Congress leaders and workers of Rangapet of Manakondur mandal in Karimnagar district and Sarpanch and others of Shapur of Shamshabad manda and some of Nagarkurnool district also joined the TRS in the presence of MLA Prakash.
Some of the leaders of Nagarkurnool and Achchampet segment also joined the TRS in the presence of MLA G Balaraju. Some 65 persons from Nurkhan Bazaar and Patharghatti divisions also joined the ruling party. (PMI)
