Drug suppliers are finding new ways to conduct their business in Hyderabad. As the New Year celebrations approach, drug smugglers are trying various ways to supply drugs to Hyderabad from Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore, while drug peddlers are trying to sell them to customers and make profits. Recently, a drug peddler was caught by the police while trying to sell drugs targeting the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) community. This has brought this matter to light.
Drug peddlers are operating drug rackets in Hyderabad through new routes, thinking that selling drugs to this community will not arouse suspicion. These drug peddlers are trying to get close to that community by introducing themselves to some of the groups. In order to sell drugs to the general public, they have to introduce themselves to people who come to pubs, bars, and various types of events and sell the drugs they have. They sell to new people through those they have contacts. Police surveillance on drug sales has increased across the country. Police have increased surveillance during the New Year celebrations.
Due to high demand..
Celebrations are organized to welcome the LGBTQ community during the New Year celebrations. There are also chances of drug parties taking place during those celebrations. The police do not focus much on these matters. Due to this, drug peddlers consider this an ideal area for drug sales and are preparing their plans accordingly. It is reported that gangs that supply drugs to these groups in places like Mumbai, Goa, and Bangalore are also explaining these plans to gangs in Hyderabad. These groups are separate groups, some are together, and the whole group exchanges information.
Both groups feel that if they want drugs for the New Year celebrations, they should move forward with their plans from now on. They feel that if a day or two passes, the police surveillance will increase further. Recently, the Teenab and Nampally police caught a man named Amir trying to bring MDMA drugs from Mumbai and sell them to the LGBTQ community. The police believe that if this case is investigated in depth, more information will come out in this matter.(PMI)
