Hyderabad, The 69th Republic Day was celebrated with nationalistic fervor in various departments here today.
The Republic day was celebrated at Metro Rail corporate office, Begumpet with its MD NVS Reddy unfurling the flag. Reddy said it was important to rededicate ourselves to strengthen the country and uplift the underprivileged sections of the society. Recalling struggles and sacrifices made by great leaders, he urged that every citizen should fulfill the dreams of those immortal personalities and reposition India as a strong nation.
NVS Reddy said Hyderabad Metro Rail was recognized as an infrastructural innovation by various International infrastructural fora and was awarded many prestigious awards, including ‘Global Infrastructural project of the year 2013. He also said every citizen should strive to make Hyderabad a safe, secure and healthier place and make it one of the most preferred destinations globally.
