Hyderabad, Aug.15 (PMI): Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to make available 40,000 clay Ganesh idols for Vinayaka Chavithi this year, as part of it’s efforts to protect the environment.
HMDA Commissioner Arvind Kumar took the decision to supply, free of cost, 40,000 Ganesh idols to the environment-lovers, for the Ganesh festival on September 2, officials informed. Free clay idols distribution centers will be set up at Lumbini park, Badangpet, Ibrahimpatnam, Pedda Amberpet, Medchal, Shadnagar, Jalpally, Peerzadiguda, Bhongir, Meerpet, Boduppal, and Sangareddy Municipalities.
