Hyderabad, Oct. 27 (PMI): With the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting heavy rains across Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to remain on high alert, particularly during the ongoing procurement of paddy, cotton, and maize.
The Chief Minister instructed authorities to ensure that the procurement process proceeds smoothly without causing any inconvenience or losses to farmers. Acting on his directions, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Agriculture Minister 
Tummala Nageswara Rao conducted a video conference with district collectors and senior officials. They reviewed preparedness measures and instructed them to take all necessary precautions in line with the IMD forecast. (PMI)
