Hyderabad, The High Court has served notices to AP and Telangana governments directing to issue notices to Inorbit Mall, RK Cine Flex, Rainbow Children Hospital and Sujana Forum Mall as they were collecting parking fee against its directions.
The High Court admitted a PIL filed by one Indrasena Chowdhary from Anantapur district residing in Hyderabad against collection of parking fee in commercial complexes in two Telugu States in violation of High Court directions. The petitioner argued that the commercial complexes were collecting parking fee indiscriminately in towns in the two Telugu States. He said he personally examined Inorbit Mall, RK Cine Flex, Rain Bow Children Hospital and Sujana Forum Mall and found that they were collecting parking fee as usual.
He explained to the Court that the Telangana government issued a G.O. in this regard but not implementing it. The Telangana government issued G.O. but not initiating any action against the violators. He also argued that there was no minimum action in Andhra Pradesh State in this regard.
Reacting to it, the High Court issued notices to both the States and adjourned the case after three weeks.
