Hyderabad; 20 Oct 2023 ( Ali Abbas PMI ): On credible information, on 20-10-2023 the Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team on tip off information busted a suspected Hawala Money racket which is operating from Abids and intercepted Honda Activa Reg No. TS09FK-2319, apprehended (03) accused persons and Seized Hawala money Rs. 45,90,000/- (Un-accountable amount) from their possession.
Details of accused persons:
1. Manoj Kumar Sharma S/o. Babulal Sharma, age.40 yrs, occ. Worker in Jagruthi Steel R/o. Goshamahal, Hyderabad N/o. Rajastan State.

2. Syed Shah Raheemuddin Qadri S/o. Syed Shah Samdani Qadri, age. 35 yrs, occ. Scrap business R/o. Bholakpur, Musheerabad
• (Seized Rs.26,40,000/- & Cell phone)
3. Mohd Zakir Hussain S/o. late Noor Mohammed, age. 44 yrs, Occ. Scrap business R/o. Bholakpur, Musheerabad.

Facts of the case:
The accused Manoj Kumar Sharma is native of Rajastan State and residing in the limits of Goshamahal working under Jagruthi Steel, Mehidipatnam. The accused persons Syed Shah Raheemuddin Qadri Mohd Zakir Hussain are residing in the limits of Musheerabad and running Steel & scrap trading.
During the course of time, they came into contact with Hawala Money Transfer Agents and organizing illegal Hawala money transfer business clandestinely and supplying money to Hawala Brokers, particularly in Metropolitan Cities and used to communicate with others through Messages & Whatsapp chatting by maintaining a code of identification etc and used to deliver the hawala money in order to evade tax to the Income Tax Department.
Today i.e on 20-10-2023 the said accused Manoj Kumar Sharma collected Huge amount from customers and transporting in his Honda Activa Reg.No.TS09FK-2319, reached near Taj Mahal Hotel road, in the limits of Abids road and waiting to deliver the amount to customers meanwhile apprehended him, he confessed that the main agents Syed Shah Raheemuddin Qadri & Mohd Zakir Hussain are running Steel & Scrap trading and delivering huge cash to customers through hawala on commission basis. Immediately on lead apprehended them with un-accountable amount. The accused persons did not disclosed about the Cash Bills pertains to amount. Seized Hawala amount Rs.45,90,000/-, One Honda Activa & three cell phones from their possession.
The apprehended accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO, Abid Road PS for further investigation.
The above arrest is made under the supervision of Sri. P. Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police(OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sri B.Raju Naik, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Task Force Team and SIs S.Sai Kiran, Ch.Naveen Kumar along with staff of Central Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad.
