Hyderabad, : The flagship Mission Kakatiya program got accolades from other nations such as US and others as an Indian based organization invited Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao to address a meeting at Chicago on Oct 7. American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) has invited Harish Rao to address the international conference on “India facing challenges, secularism- Diversity”. The organization has also appreciated Harish for taking up lakes revival program in a big way. It noted that it is a historic movement for Telangana that the administration has succeeded in its efforts to revive as many as 17000 lakes and ponds and brought under irrigation 15 lakhs of acres including 5 lakhs of additional ayacut.
