Hyderabad, Governor ESL Narasimhan today extended his warm greetings to the people of two Telugu States on the occasion of Ugadi Festival on Sunday.
In a communiqué here on Saturday, the Governor said: “On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and to the Telugu people across the World”. He said Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope and the New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future. Narasimhan also said he was confident that ‘Sri Vilambi Nama Samvatsaram’ will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all people and all sections of the society.
