Hyderabad, Alleging that police were ruling the Telangana State, Gujarat Vagdam constituency MLA Jignesh Mevani has stated keeping MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga, who was fighting for the rights like categorization of SC Reservations, in jail was against the democratic rights.
Jignesh Mevani today met Manda Krishna Madiga in Chanchalguda jail here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Jignesh said violation of human rights reached to its peak in Telangana State and suppression will lead to a widespread movement against the State government. He felt the Centre will pay the price for the violence against Dalits across the nation. He made it clear that they would take the Dalit movement nationwide. He called upon the Dalit unions to remain united in Telangana State. Stressing the need of categorization of SC reservations, Jignesh demanded that the State government give five acre land to each Dalit family in the State.
