Hyderabad, Feb.5 (PMI): Expressing gratitude to IT Minister KT Ramarao for extending help to the Kuwait victims, the Gulf Telangana Welfare and Cultural Association (GTWCA) has urged the minister to extend financial assistance and prepare an NRI policy.
The GTWCA submitted a memorandum to the Minister in this regard here on Monday. In the memorandum, the GTWCA has urged the Minister to make special arrangements to bring bodies of Telanganaites dying at least one every day. It also urged the Minister to allot responsibility of bringing back dead bodies of Telanganaites from Gulf to GTWCA. It also urged KTR to extend Rs.5 lakh financial help and a job to one family member of the persons died in Gulf countries.
GTWCA founder-president P Basanth Reddy urged KTR, who was also holding NRI department, to prepare NRI policy for the welfare of NRIs working in various countries for their livelihood.
