Hyderabad’11 ‘Dec 23(PMI) The Medaram fair to be held in February 2024 should be organized grandly and all facilities should be provided to the devotees. Ministers said Sitakka. Today, the Ministers conducted a review with the higher officials at the Tribal Welfare Department office in Hyderabad and gave orders to this effect. Sanitation, roads, electricity, drinking water availability, bathing arrangements, devotees’ accommodation etc. were discussed with the concerned officials and given appropriate orders.
He said that earlier Koya tribal festival gathering which was held two months before the fair should be seen to be held during the fair this time so that the devotees will get to know about the cultural splendor of the tribe.
Speaking on the occasion, the Honorable Ministers said that they will once again send proposals to the Central Government and work for the status of a national festival for the Medaram Fair, so that central funds can be added to the state budget to organize the fair more grandly. ITDA officials in Ethurunagaram have conducted a review with everyone next week and ordered to speed up the work of the fair. He assured that the tribal welfare department is like his mother and the employees of this department consider him as a sister and can share their problems anytime.
