Telangana state president Dr K Laxman said on a call given by central party “ Gram Swaraj Abhiyan” programme would be organised across the state from April 14 to May 5.Addressing a press conference here on the way to Adilabad district, Laxman said the NDA government led by prime minister Narendra Modi has taken up various welfare programme for downtrodden, backward and poor classes in the country. During the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan , the party would highlight welfare programmes taken up by Modi government, he said. Laxman was going to Juri in Adilabad district to unveil statue of Komram Bhim.
The state party chief said Gram Swaraj Abhiyan programme would be organised in all mandal, districts and assembly segments in the state.
Laxman assured the party would waive off crop loans of Rs two lakh at a time if BJP comes to power. The farmers would also be provided interest free loans, he said.(NSS)
