Govt to conduct Praja Palana from Dec 28 to Jan 6 for implementation of six guarantees

Hyderabad, Dec.24 (PMI): The State government will conduct the Praja Palana programme in all the village and municipal wards from December 28 to January 6, 2024 to receive applications from people for the implementation of Six guarantees.

            The meetings will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM and again from 2 PM to 5 PM.  Applications are given to people ahead of the meeting day and will be collected on the same day. A team of officers will visit two villages every day. After the scrutinization of applications, beneficiaries are selected based on the eligibility.

            During the Praja Palana programme, applications will be received from all sections of the people and basic amenities like drinking water and other medical emergencies will be provided.

            Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a meeting with district Collectors and SPs at the Secretariat here on Sunday. Cabinet Ministers and senior officials from all the departments were present in the meeting.

            Disclosing the details of the meeting to the media, Minister for I& PR Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that the Chief Minister made it clear during the meeting that the Congress government is belonged to the people’s government and it will work as per the aspirations of the people.

            The Chief Minister also took suggestions from senior officials for the best implementation of administration and asked them to express their views and suggestions during the meeting.

            The meeting also discussed about the menace of drugs and directed the officials to take stringent action against those who are involved in the drugs.

            Alleging that the previous government encroached upon the government lands with the help of Dharani portal, the Minister said the State government has decided to revise the Dharani Portal and will make it available for the people without having grievances.

            “There will be no vendetta in the Congress Government. However, if anyone indulges in irregularities, the government will not spare them and will take stringent action against them,” Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said. (PMI)
