Hyderabad Dec 7 (PMI): The results of GHMC Election that were declared on 4th December 2020 shows the trend of the public as how enthusiastic were they and paved the way to the BJP giving a blow to TRS and its policies against public such as ongoing LRS, Dharani Portal and more important is stopping of Registration. The ruling party Government sustain a deadly blow in the GHMC Election as the results were not as the ruling party supremo had expected. The expectation was 100 out 150, but the ruling party could not achieve the numbers and lost as many as 43 seats that added to BJP. Observers are of view that this had happened because of the policies like LRS, Dharani Portal and stopping of Registration which were rolled out in wrong manner by Telangana Government and had effected the people of Telangana and their leaders instead of working for people are misusing the power or sources in the Government in their self-interest.
The time has come for TRS leadership to review the polices that are being implemented and take stern action on the party leaders who are causing damage to the image of party for their self-interest. Citizens had lot of Civic issues in their respective areas because of recent heavy rains, they were not able to sell their properties for a while because registration process was stopped as Dharni Portal had to be implemented and on other hand GHMC had asked Citizens to apply for LRS and BRS to put a pause on selling or construction of properties in Hyderabad and Telangana State. Moreover ruling party leaders were found to be involved in encroachment, harassment cases and interfering in the public properties for their allies.
The trend of the voters were seen against all parties specially the ruling party, Voting percentage and slow polling gives the signal that no party is better to solve the Civic Problems. They are elected only to live luxurious life.
The status of elected members is increasing day by day and their attitude at the same time. They appeal Citizens with folded hands before election, after election Voters have to fold their hands and stand before them as slaves.
A democratic voters is supreme, but as observed since past many years the elected members appears to be supreme and the voters at their threshold with folded hands.
It is seen many elected members have criminal background accommodated by all parties with the result of the parties specially ruling party have to think twice before introducing any scheme such as Dharani Portal, LRS Sada Bainama and other which though may be benefit of General public but the benefit is not being extended or reached to the needy and is being encroached by politicians and its allies.
TRS with 55 seats emerged as largest party in GHMC elections while BJP increased its number from 4 to 48 seats whereas AIMIM retained their seats despite communal slogans that were spread by the VVIP’s and Congress party could survive with two seats as usual. (Press media of India)
