Hyderabad June 17 (PMI): The encroachment of land and grabbing issues are spiking where a government body is helping persons who are wrongfully claiming properties and real owners are being harassed under political pressure. In one such case, GHMC Alwal Circle-27 is being alleged of supporting land grabbers Sri Vehnkateshwara Mahila Mandli under due pressure and influence of MLA malkajgiri to grab the land by putting construction permission in pending, while Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandli were declared land grabbers by Land Grabbing Court vide case number 68 of 1998 and the judgement of LGC was upheld by Hon’ble High court and dismissed the writ petition of Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandali.
The GPA holder of Sri Samrat Saincher Nag said that the Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandali grab the Land admeasuring 150 SQ Yards belonged to Late Sri Raja Prem Gopal Saincher long back and also tried to grab adjacent lands admeasuring 100 SQ Yards belonging to Smt Yashoda Bai and also 300 SQ yards to 400 SQ yards land belonging to Raja Prem Gopal Saincher. Smt Yashodha Bai filed a case in Land Grabbing Court against Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandali and others, and the Land Grabbing Court declared land grabbers to Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandali and other respondents.
According to Mr Syed Hussain Ali Sajjad, the registered GPA holder of Sri Samrat Saincher Nag the great grandson of Sir Maha Raja Kishan Pershad the then Prime minister of HEH Nizam Government of Hyderabad Deccan who had applied boundary wall/compound wall permission on 20-12-2019 and the ACP Town Planning Alwal Circle 27 issued a shortfall Letter to him just to delay the matter and asking some documents which were already submitted along with the application.
When we further enquired about the details it came to light that applicant had replied through registered post letter to ACP Alwal C-27 of the Shortfall Letter but it went in vein as neither the application was refused or sanctioned. When the applicant issued a notice under section 685 of HMC Act 1955 to commence work unfortunately Lockdown was declared and he could not start the work. After lockdown was removed GPA approached GHMC Alwal Circle-27 again and enquired about the status of the application for which they asked the need for construction of boundary wall and when GPA holder shown photos and informed the GHMC personnel that garbage picking vehicles of GHMC are being parked and further people were using the subject land for open defecation, after the discussion they have orally advised to construct/ build basement wall up to three feet height no permission is required.
While the work was carried out Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandli tried to interrupt the work along with followers and supporter of MLA Malkajgiri and threatened him of dire consequences to kill him if the work is not stopped immediately. When GPA holder did not stopped the work they went to GHMC Alwal C-27 and pressurized the GHMC personnel to accept the complaint by hand and interfere in the matter to stop the work. The GHMC personnel visited the site to stop the work and GPA holder showed them the court judgments and documents that they have title and possession upon which he was hesitating to stop the work and again checked with his seniors and said the matter is hard as they have pressure to stop the work. Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandli did not even submit or have shown any document which claims the land. They were pressurizing GHMC personnel to stop the work at any cost else they will report MLA malkajgiri for not stopping the work.
GHMC Alwal C-27 personnel did not bother to consider court judgements instead worked upon the directions of MLA makajgiri allies Sri Venkateshwara Mahila Mandli and stopped the work. The GHMC Alwal C-27 TPS Muniraj and staff took construction equipment in their custody without giving any notice or showing the complaint received. GHMC department who is supposed to work for public is working for political leaders and ignoring the general public as well as the Judgments of Court of Law, said GPA holder. (Press Media of India)
