Hyderabad, June 18 (Shoukat-PMI): Today, on a tip off, the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, along with Bandlaguda Police apprehended Mohd Ahmed and his three associates identified as Mohd Amjad alias Munavar, Mir Kousar Ali alias Siraj and Kothakota Raj Kumar Reddy alias Raju, who cheated innocent people by taking money from them on the promise of allotting Double Bedroom Flats at Bandlaguda and collected Rs 42.35 lakh approximately under TG State govt scheme and delivered fake and fabricated Double Bed room allotment order copies to 11 victims by affixing fake and forged seal.
The principal accused Mohd Ahmed, a resident of Bandlaguda, of hatching a plan along with his associate Mohd Amjad alias Munavar, also of Bandlaguda, to lure innocent people on the guise of providing them double-bedroom flats under the TG Govt Scheme and collect money from them. They approached Kothakota Raj Kumar Reddy alias Raju, who was working as a supervisor at an under-construction site at Bandlaguda, where the government has been constructing double-bedroom flats for the beneficiaries. Both the accused, Ahmed and Munavar, told innocent people that they could get double-bedroom Flats allotted to them and used to take money from them from the range of Rs 50,000 to 1,70,000.
Both of them used to take the innocent people to the Bandlaguda site, where Raju used to show them the double-bedroom flats and make them believe that they were going to be allotted to them, for which he used to take commission from Ahmed. Later, after a few days, Mir Kousar Ali alias Siraj, a resident of Golkonda, approached him and sent a few of his relatives from Golconda on a commission basis.
Likewise, the accused A1 had demanded Rs.. 50,000/- to 2,22,000/- from each individual for allotment of a Double bedroom, by giving them a fabricated allotment order copy in the victim’s name. The main accused used to take the original allotment order of Double Bedroom issued on someone else and used to edit it in Picsart APP and create Blank Documents of allotment order copies and later used to fill them with the innocent people’s details along with affixing the Signature of RDO Hyderabad and stamping a seal on them.
In this manner, he used to create a forged and fabricated document of the Govt Revenue Department, showing it as an allotment order of a Double Bedroom. In this process over two years, the main accused and his associates trapped some 25 to 30 people from Bandlaguda, Amberpet, Mangalhat, Madannapet, Golconda, Nallakunta, Attapur, and other areas and cheated an amount of Rs 42.35 lakh from the innocent people and spent lavishly.
On credible information today, the North Zone Task Force team and Bandlaguda police have apprehended the accused and seized incriminating material mentioned along with a cash of Rs 5,50,000/-. The apprehension of the accused was carried out by Raghavender, Inspector of Police, North Zone Task Force, Gurunath, Inspector of Police, Bandlaguda PS, P. Gnanadeep, C. Raghavender Reddy, SI of Police, North Zone Task Force, Nagaraj Reddy, SI of Police of Bandlaguda PS, Sagar, PC, Imran PC, along with a team of North Zone Task Force and staff of Bandlaguda PS. (PMI)
