Hyderabad: The Ganesh Navaratri festivities will conclude tomorrow, with immersion processions scheduled across the city on Saturday. Special arrangements have been made by officials and police for the Khairatabad Ganesh immersion, which is expected to take place before 11 a.m. Similarly, the Balapur Ganesh Shobha Yatra is also planned to be completed at the earliest, police said.
In view of the processions, strict traffic restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. on Saturday till 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Areas Affected

Tank Bund, Hussainsagar, Necklace Road, and People’s Plaza will be closed for general vehicular traffic.

The main procession from Balapur will pass through Charminar, Abids, Liberty, Tank Bund and proceed towards Necklace Road.

Idols from Secunderabad will reach Tank Bund via Patny, Paradise, Ranigunj, and Karbala Maidan.

Idols from Tolichowki and Mehdipatnam will reach Necklace Road via Khairatabad.

Idols from Tappachabutra and Asifnagar will be allowed only up to MJ Market.
Traffic Diversions

Vehicles from Keshavagiri, Chandrayangutta, Moosarambagh, and Chanchalguda in the South East Zone will be diverted.

Traffic diversions will also be enforced at Aliyabad, Madina, Nayapul, MJ Market, and Darushifa.

Restrictions will apply at Shivaji Bridge, Putlibowli, Himayatnagar, and YMCA areas.

Vehicular movement will not be permitted at Liberty, Abids, Khairatabad, Tank Bund, and Buddha Bhavan junctions.
