Hyderabad’28’Jan (PMI):For the past month, sewage has been flowing from the middle of the houses in Ambedkar Nagar slum in Maredpally area of Secunderabad. There is no way to even step outside. The problem of flies and mosquitoes has increased due to the increase in sewage. All the residents of the slum have complained to the local GHMC office, but no one has responded so far. Even if they bring it to the attention of political leaders, they do not care. Students who go to school walk on this sewage every day. The residents of the slum are expressing their concern that when will they be free from sewage again.(PMI)
