Film shooting permissions in seven days: Talasani Launches single window, online ticketing portal

Hyderabad,  Much to the delight of the film producers and cine-goers, the State government has come up with a single window system to offer all permissions for film shooting in just seven days and film-goers can book tickets online.

Minister for Cinematography and Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav today launched at the Secretariat an “Online Cinema Ticket Portal” and single window to give all permissions in seven days.

Addressing the media after launching the online ticket portal along with Government Advisor KV Ramanachary, Information Commissioner Navin Mittal and others, the minister said through this portal, the cine goers can book the tickets online from any place to watch the films in 400 theaters across the State. He declared that single window system will give all permissions for film shooting in just seven days. “The producers can go in for film shooting even if they do not get permissions after seven days of applying. The producers can construe as getting permission from the government”,t he clarified.

Yadav also said the State government was for encouraging small films production and exhibition. To encourage small films in a big way, the government offers permission for fifth show in the theaters and related GO will be issued in two to three days, the minister said. He also stated that they have called tenders to set up small theaters in RTC Bus Stands to promote small cinemas and Film Industry. The proposal to start mini cinema theatres will be fructified and also to give permission for the film shooting from single window system.

Instead of daily permission for the film shooting, permission will be granted for one week and above also in the State, he said. A team of officials will tour to find the place for the proposed International film city in Hyderabad after Deepavali festival. A committee headed by K V Ramanachary will finalize details on film awards by taking permission from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
