Hyderabad, Nov.12 (PMI): Minister for IT and Municipal Administration, KT Rama Rao today launched a blitzkrieg against the Centre and the BJP leadership for refusing to procure paddy grains from Telangana state. The centre is selling all PSUs and denying procurement of paddy stocks from the state, he charged. He vowed that the TRS will continue the fight until the Centre buys our paddy.
Addressing a mammoth protest meeting by the TRS leaders at Siricilla district, KT Rama Rao took serious exception to the Centre and BJP leaders for adopting dual standards on paddy procurement. It is a shame on the part of the union ministers and the Centre for this sorry state of affairs, he expressed displeasure. While we call it Jai Kisan the Centre says Nai Kisan and duping the farmers in the country, he said.
Due to bankrupt and failure policies of the centre India occupies 102nd position in world hunger index which is far behind Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. Instead of exporting the stocks while feeding the poor the Centre has to clear the stocks from all states.

The BJP MP and leaders of the saffron party only rake up Hindu and Muslim communal card, he said. The Centre has always been remaining ignorant at our pleas for development and funds, the minister fumed. The Centre led by Modi Government deliberately ignored Niti Ayog recommendations to give about Rs 24000 cr towards Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya the flagship programs, he said.
