• Industry advised to issue passes to their workers and employees as per the GOMS No 1082
• Company ID card with, Covid duty pass by organization with serial number & signature of head with Aadhar card is sufficient.
• GOMS No 8 says all Manufacturing Industrial activities are permitted.
• Industrial workers travelling long distance need to justify police when prevented to commute.

Hyderabad 18th May 2021: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry-FTCCI and FICCI jointly organized a Virtual Interactive Session with Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Govt of Telangana on Lockdown 2.0 Guidelines.. It was attended by Mr Ramakanth Inani, President, Mr K Bhaskar Reddy, Sr VP., Mr Anil Agarwal, VP., Ms. Khyati Naravane, CEO., Ms. T Sujata, Dy CEO, FTCCI. Mr. Muralidharan, Chairman FICCI Telangana State Council Mr Murali Krishna Reddy, c Co Chairman FICCI Telangana State Council and Mr Akhilesh Mahurkar, Head, FICCI Telangana Chapter.
Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Govt of Telangana said that the G.O.M.S No. 102 & No. 8 is related to the functioning of industries. He stated that every manufacturing industry is permitted. There will be only restrictive movement of the people. The workers can reach units between 6am to 10am. The workers should travel a short distance and the purpose of lock down will not be served if they travel long distances. He also said that there is no confusion between 2(a) and 2(b). If the workers are travelling long distances, they need to justify the police if they are prevented to commute.
He further stated that ID card issued by company is sufficient along with Covid duty pass issued by organisation having serial number, head of department signature & Aadhar card. They need not apply for e passes. The passes are applicable only when the workers are travelling inter district or interstate. If an industry is a part of supply chain, no separate letter will be given. He informed that they organized a meeting with three commissionerates of Police and explained the modalities. If the message does not percolate to the down, workers may face problems from Police. Pl contact Rachakonda covid control 9490617234 to address any issue related to movement of employees. For any psychosocial issues of any employee they can avail free counseling through helpline started by Rachakonda police and RKSC contacting number 040-48214800 from 9am to 9pm except Sunday. He also requested all industries in Rachakonda to join Rachakonda Security Council and participate in Philanthropic activities in lockdown.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Ramakanth Inani, President, FTCCI he expressed his gratitude for the tireless efforts of police personnel in controlling the Covid. He brought to the notice of the Commissioner that though the government has allowed all manufacturing units to function normally vide G.0 Ms.No.8, with certain SOPs, the industrial enterprises are facing certain challenges in the movement of goods and workers and requested him to resolve the issues.
Mr. Muralidharan, in charge of FICCI, Telangana Chapter said FICCI is ready to support the police personnel in whatever way they need and requested the Commissioner to involve the industry in supporting them during these difficult times.
