Hyderabad: In connection with contract killing, Miyapur Police apprehended a notorious supari gang of 6 members near hanuman Temple, Old Hafeezpet, who were hired to kill owner of Hitech Petrol Pump, Old Hafeezpet, G. Shyam Sunder Reddy by his Father-in-law N. Vasudeva Reddy amid matrimonial dispute between them. They have been found in possession of 9 draggers lying in an auto No. AP 13 X 9505. During interrogation they have confessed that they have been engaged by N. Vasudeva Reddy for a supari of Rs. 18, 00,000/- and took Rs. 2, 00,000/- as advance to kill his Son-in-law.
They were introduced by a Real Estate agent Ch. Kondal Reddy who is a distant relative of N.Vasudeva Reddy. Ch. Kondal Reddy even mediated between N.Vasudeva Reddy and supari gang members to kill G.Shyam Sunder Reddy. On further interrogation they also confessed about previous attempts they have made in month of June to kill G. Shyam Sunder Reddy at Miyapur Court and at his residence in Chandanagar on dates of his appearances in the Court in connection with the maintenance and DVC cases filed by his wife Sirisha, separated three years ago and their divorce proceedings are pending with Miyapur Court since then.
Based on their confession, police seized one Toyota Innova car bearing No. AP 28 CK 4959 and Honda Activa bike (unregistered) which were used in commission of offence from the possession of the accused N. Vasudeva Reddy and Mohd. Mazhar Khan. One of the gang members named Syed Mohammed has escaped for the offence scene.
