Farewell Ceremony for Narayanpet SP Yogesh Goutam – Collector and Officials Participate
Narayanpet, Oct 1 (PMI): A farewell function was organized for Narayanpet Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Yogesh Goutam, IPS, at the District SP Office Conference Hall.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Goutam said that every officer must work hard in the discharge of duties. “During my service in Narayanpet district, I have learned a great deal. Transfers and promotions are common in service life, but wherever one is posted, work should be done with sincerity, honesty, and dedication,” he remarked. He stressed that policing is a highly responsible duty and officers must win the respect of people through hard work and integrity.
After serving nearly two years as SP of Narayanpet, Mr. Goutam has been promoted and transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Rajendranagar Zone under Cyberabad Commissionerate.
District Collector Sikta Patnaik attended the program as the chief guest, along with Additional Collector Srinu, Trainee Collector Pranay, Additional SP Riyaz-ul-Haq, DSP Nalapu Lingayya, other district police officers, and staff members.
In his address, the District Collector praised Mr. Goutam for maintaining peace and order in the district and for his significant contribution to development. He said the SP constantly worked for police welfare and took initiatives such as the installation of modern CCTV cameras and improving road safety with speed signal systems. The Collector congratulated Mr. Goutam on his new posting and extended best wishes for his future, urging him to continue serving people with the same energy and commitment.
The farewell event was attended by Circle Inspectors Shivashankar, Ramlal, Rajender Reddy, Saidulu, Sub-Inspectors, and police staff.(pressmediaofindia.com)
