Hyderabad, July 11(Ali Abbas-PMI) Elaborate arrangements for Muharram 2025 (1447 AH) at Ashurkhane across Karwan constituency have been sanctioned following representations by AIMIM leaders.

Under the leadership of Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi and on the direction of Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin, civic and religious works have been approved for all major Ashurkhane in the area. The efforts were actively pursued by corporators Wajhiuzzama (Langer Houz), Mohammed Naseeruddin (Nanal Nagar), Harun Farhan (Tolichowki), Mohd Ameer (Golconda), and Mandangiri Swami Yadav (Karwan), with close monitoring by senior AIMIM leader Ali Agha, in-charge of Karwan Shia Ashurkhane affairs.

The works include repairs and civic maintenance at Ashurkhana Paltan (Golconda), Ashurkhana 12 Imam (Langer Houz), Ashurkhana Imam Zainul Abideen (Tolichowki), Ashurkhana Qamar Bani Hashim (Banjari Darwaza), Ashurkhana Talib Ali, Ashurkhana-e-Hazrat Abbas (Ring Road), Ashurkhana-e-Baitul Sakeena, and Ashurkhana-e-Moosvi (Hashim Nagar).

GHMC will provide temporary lighting from Muharram through Rabi-ul-Awwal, along with portable toilets, sanitation, fogging, garbage clearance, and horticulture maintenance. TGSPDCL will deploy a mobile transformer to ensure uninterrupted power supply, while HMWSSB will supply drinking water, tankers, and carry out sewerage line cleaning.

The Telangana State Waqf Board has also sanctioned a grant-in-aid to 10 Ashurkhane in Karwan, including Imam Zainul Abideen, Baitul Sakeena, 12 Imam, Haider-e-Karrar, Imran ul Hasan, Hussaini Alawa, Panj Bai Alawa, Alawa Sulaiman Jah, and Hazrat Abbas (Langer Houz).

Senior officials of GHMC, HMWSSB, TGSPDCL, and Waqf Board assured the timely execution of all works to ensure a smooth and safe observance of Muharram.(pressmediaofindia.com)
