Hyderabad, May 23: Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday extended a financial support of Rs 50,000 to para-athlete K. Lokeshwari enabling her to get the professional training to excel in her chosen sport.

Ms. Lokeshwari, a budding para-athlete, is taking training in Shotput and Discuss Throw, and is nurturing ambitions to represent the country at the international competitions. The Governor handed over the cheque to Lokeshwari at Raj Bhavan, here.

The Governor motivated the para-athlete and wished her good luck in all her sporting endeavours and assured of her all necessary help (PMI)
