Ex-corporator Khaja Bilal quits MIM to join Congress

Hyderabad, MIM former corporator Khaja Bilal Ahmed tendered his resignation today and announced that he was joining the Congress soon. He alleged that the MIM party has forgotten the development of Old City in collusion with the BJP.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Bilal said the MIM was not speaking on Metro Rail in Old City and 12 percent reservations to the Muslims. He also said MIM contested in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra elections to ensure victory of the BJP. Terming MIM as a “dictatorial” party, Bilal said the MIM was benefiting while provoking Muslims. “The police opened rowdy-sheet and imposed PD Act against me and cancelled my passport just because of the MIM”, he added.
