Hyderabad, May 16 (PMI): The Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam Graduates’ MLC by-election will be held soon. Gujjula Premender Reddy is contesting on behalf of the BJP in the election. The key leaders of the party are campaigning for him.
A preparatory meeting for the Graduate MLC elections was held at Nalgonda district headquarters. Former minister Etela Rajender attended the preparatory meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Etela attacked the Congress party. He said CM Revanth, who faced public opposition in a short span of time, did not do anything for public. He said the situation of the people of Telangana had fallen from the pan into the oven and added that they voted for the Congress because of their opposition to KCR. He alleged that there was no stopping of the corruption by the Congress leaders.
Claiming that people have already lost faith in the Congress government, he appealed to the graduates to ensure the victory of Gujjula Premender Reddy as the BJP candidate for the combined Nalgonda, Khammam and Warangal graduates’ MLC. Etela Rajender said if there is no voice to question, the ruling party would be one-sided.
He said in the recently Lok Sabha elections, the BJP would get 12 Lok Sabha seats in the State. “We are confident of winning the Nalgonda seat with the highest majority. Even graduates are looking at PM Modi,” he claimed. (PMI)
