The top leaders of all major political parties are taking the electioneering in Telangana further ahead with a number of them are campaigning in various parts of the state.
In an attempt to create more impact on electors, thee are holding roadshows, addressing election rallies and public meetings seeking support for their respective party candidates as the state is heading for tight fight between various parties and alliances. Campaigning is also underway in full swing in all districts.
A day ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled public meeting in Hyderabad, BJP President Amit Shah is taking up whirlwind campaign at four places in the state today. He began his day’s campaign from Narayanpet and he will later address poll rallies at Kalwakurthy, Kamareddy and Malkajgiri.
Central minister Nitin Gadkari is in Uppal in support of the BJP candidate and he will campaign at Kollapur, Suryapet and Secunderabad later in the day.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will campaign for party candidates in Tandur, Sangareddy, Medchal and come to Hyderabad to hold a roadshow at Goshamahal. BJP national Spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain is also taking part in the electioneering.
TRS Chief Chandrasekhar Rao will be addressing rallies in Nagarkurnool, Chevella, Patancheru and Hyderabad. He will address a public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad this evening.
The Congress senior leaders including Jairam Ramesh will take up road shows in Warangal whereas Veerappa Moily and Kapil Sibal also join the campaign at other places today.
PCC working president and eminent Cricketer Mohd Azharuddin will campaign on behalf of party candidate and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar in Karimnagar today. He will take part in a road show on the occasion.
Meanwhile, TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad and Karnataka Minister D K Shivakumar and others will hold joint campaign in Malakpet and Uppal.
Telangana Jana Samithi President Prof. Kodandaram has held a roadshow in Ambarpet constituency and surrounding areas seeking support from the electors for Praja Kutami candidates. He will also hold a roadshow in Nalgonda and will address election meeting in Tungaturthy and Kodad later this evening.
AIMIM President Asaduddin Owisi and his party candidates are undertaking door to door campaign in all the eight Constituencies in which his party is in contest.
