Islmabad’Jan 4 ‘2023-Economic Crisis | Neighboring country Pakistan is suffering from severe economic problems. The economic sector is suffocating with problems like unemployment and unemployment. By following the mantra of savings, key decisions are being taken. Actions have been taken to reduce the hugely accumulating debts especially in the power sector. In this background it has been decided to reduce the electricity consumption. To this extent, key proposals have been announced to reduce electricity consumption in the country. Restrictions have been imposed on markets, shopping malls, restaurants and wedding halls being open at night. Orders have been issued to close shopping malls by 8:30 pm and marriage halls by 10 pm.
The Cabinet of Pakistan has taken this decision as part of the National Energy Conservation Plan. It has also decided to impose restrictions on oil imported from abroad. Pakistan’s Defense Minister Quaja Asif said that by closing the markets, marriage halls and shopping malls early at night, around Rs.6 thousand crores can be saved.
