Huge revenue has accrued to the government through payments through vehicle concession pending challans. While there are 3.59 crore pending challans across the state, so far 1,52,47,864 people have paid challans.
Hyderabad’27 Jan 2024 (PMI) Huge revenue has accrued to the government through payments through vehicle concession pending challans. While there are 3.59 crore pending challans across the state, so far 1,52,47,864 people have paid challans. Officials said that only 42.38 percent of the challans have been paid so far, out of which Rs.135 crores have been generated. Income of Rs.34 crores was collected in Hyderabad Commissionerate, Rs.25 crores in Cyberabad and Rs.16 crores in Rachakonda.
The police have been advised that motorists should pay the challans as they have only four more days to pay the concession. It is known that 15 days have been given to pay the pending challans from December 27 last year. The payment of challans has been extended till 31st of this month due to technical problems. Officials have made it clear that there is no possibility of extending the deadline once again. It is advised to pay within four days (pressmediaofindia)
