Hyderabad, Oct.30 (Najaf Ali Shoukat): An interstate drug peddling racket busted by SOT, Maheshwaram Zone Team along with Ghatkesar Police, Rachakonda.
The sleuths busted the drug syndicate and apprehended a drug peddler and seized 710 kg of Ganja, TATA container vehicle all worth Rs 2,25,50,000/-. The peddler was identified as Subash Bishnoi of Rajasthan State. Earlier, he successfully delivered one consignment of 500 kg.
Police said on October 24, 2023 Subash Bishnoi went to Navarangpur of Odisha State and collected 710 kg of Ganja from the main supplier of Odissa State, concealed the same in a specially modified truck with a secret cabin between the lorry cabin and body and concealed drugs of TATA container and proceeded to Hyderabad for local distribution and also to Maharashtra State.
On October 29 evening, on a tip off, the SOT, Maheshwaram Zone team along with Ghatkesar Police intercepted TATA Container Br. No. RJ-32-GA-7695 at Aushapur check post and apprehended Subash Bishnoi along with contraband Ganja and seized the same under the cover panchanama.
The arrest was made under the direct supervision of D S Chauhan, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda under the guidance of K. Muralidhar, DCP, SOT, LB Nagar-Maheshwaram by SOT Maheshwaram Zone and Ghatkesar police. (Press media of india)
