Drug peddler gang held in Cyberabad’ CP Stephen Ravindra IPS

Hyderabad, May 6 (PMI): On the instructions of CP Cyberabad, Stephen Ravindra IPS the SOT of Madhapur and Raidurgam police arrested a drug peddler gang Surya Prakash, Chintha Rakesh Roshan, Gajjala Srinivas Reddy and Victor Chukwu (Nigerian) who have been peddling and supplying drugs, near Nanakramguda rotary under the limits of PS Raidurgam and seized 303 grams cocaine, two four wheelers, one weighing machine and five Mobile phones from their possession, all worth Rs 1,33,00,000.

       The accused were identified as Chinta Rakesh Roshan (A-1) of Tadepalle, Guntur District, AP, Gabriel alias Petit (A-2), of Nigeria (absconding), Gajjela Srinivas Reddy (A-3), of Nellore, AP State, Surya Prakash alias David (A-4), of Kakinada, AP State and Victor Chukwa alias Nigerian (A-5) of Nigeria.

A-1 Rakesh Roshan visited Goa and attended a party where he consumed cocaine. Later he got addicted and started procuring cocaine at Rs 7000 per gram from Petit Ebuzer alias Gabriel, native of Nigeria and started supplying to needy persons in Hyderabad. Later he tempted A3 Gajjela Srinivas Reddy of Nellore district to join him.  He also made A4 Surya Prakash, who is unemployed to join him in this business and takes commission from both.

       On May 2, A-4 Surya Prakash went to Goa and procured 23 gram of cocaine from A5 Chukwu Victor (Nigerian). He was caught by SOT and Raidurgam police on May 4 and an FIR was booked under NDPS Act. On May 4, A3 Srinivas Reddy also went to Goa and procured 100 gram cocaine drug from A5 Chukwu Victor and told him to come with him with cocaine drug as there was huge demand in Hyderabad.

Accordingly, A3 Srinivas Reddy and A5 Chukwu Victor came down to Hyderabad in a car. They were caught by SOT Madhapur and Raidurgam police with 100 gram each of cocaine in their possession on May 5. On their information, A1 Rakesh Roshan was caught by the SOT team with 80 gram of cocaine in his possession. All the three have been arrested and remanded today.

       The good work done by Inspector, SOT Madhapur Zone & his team and Raidurgam Police under the supervision of CP, Cyberabad were appreciated and are being rewarded suitably.
