Hyderabad, Jan.11 (PMI): The sleuths of PS Market, Hyderabad apprehended (01) Ganja seller who is procuring and selling ganja illegally. Seized total 185 Gms of Ganja at the instance of the accused Nurnabi Sekh.
The arrested person Nurnabi Shaik (24) of Monda Market and a native of West Bengal, was procuring the contraband from Suri alias Sai, a resident of Dhoolpet, and selling it, said DCP (North), Chandana Deepthi.
DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED:-
1) Nurnabi Sekh S/o Ansar Sekh, Age 24 years, Occ.Pan shop business, R/o H.No.7- 2-118, 2nd Floor Sajjanlal Street, Beside Green Hotel, Monda Market, Secunderabad N/o Pena Village, Nanoor Tahsil, Birbhum Dist., West Bengal, Ph.8918866225, Aadhar – 5814 4339 5558.
2) Suri @ Sai, R/o Mangalht, Dhoolpet. Supplier – (Absconding) SEIZED:- 185 Gms of Ganja.
BRIEF FACTS:-
On 10-01-2023 at about 1700 hours, on credible information one person is in possession of Narcotic drug i.e. Ganja and available at Pan Shop, Beside Nabi Tea Stall, near Indira Gandhi Statue, Monda Market, Secunderabad and trying to sell the same to needy customers. Believing the information is to be true, immediately, Market Police team have apprehended him and took him into custody. On enquiry with the person he disclosed his name as Nurnabi Sekh S/o Ansar Sekh, Age 24 years, Occ.Pan shop business, R/o H.No.7-2-118, 2nd Floor Sajjanlal Street, Beside Green Hotel, Monda Market, Secunderabad N/o Pena Village, Nanoor Tahsil, Birbhum Dist., West Bengal, Ph.8918866225, Aadhar – 5814 4339 5558. On further enquiry he confessed that he has procured ganja from one person by name Suri who visits his shop and he is selling the same to the needy customers on high price in order to earn easy money illegally.
As per the procedure, Market Police had seized the dry ganja weighing 185 Gms and handed over the accused to Sri E Shekar, Addl.Inspector of Police, Market PS for further investigation.
SOURCE OF PROCURING OF GANJA BY THE ACCUSED:
The accused is running Pan shop near Indira Gandhi Statue, Monda Market, Secunderabad and he hails from West Bengal. Due to his greediness of earning easy money and having heavy demand of ganja in Hyderabad he procured ganja from one person by name Suri who visits his pan shop and trying to sell the same to needy persons to earn easy money illegally.
APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:-
In recent times we have seen several youth/students are addicted to Ganja/Drugs, engaged in crime and other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city.
