Hyderabad, May 25, 2021.(PMI)The Director General of Police(DGP) Mr. Mahender Reddy visited JNTU Checkpost in KPHB PS limits today along with Mr. VC Sajjanar, Police Commissioner, Cyberabad.
Speaking to the media Mr. Reddy said the Lockdown is being implemented very strictly across the state. The public are also extending their co-operation to the police. The lockdown is being implemented in the interest of the people and their health. Looking at the Covid on the rise, this decision was taken up by the Government. Lockdown is the only solution to control the spread of the virus. Mr. Reddy asked people not to step out of their homes without any valid reason or necessity.
The Lockdown is strictly implemented across the state without any exception. All the police officers have come on to the road to supervise that the Lockdown is implemented very strictly. All the police are trying their best to stop movement.
No ambulances will be stopped at the borders of the state. People with valid e-passes will only be allowed, the DGP said. He also warned people not to apply for the pass without any valid reason and don’t jeopardise their health.
Later Mr. Sajjanar toured Allywn Cross Roads, BHEL, Ramchandrapuram and other places. He took stock of the situation at ground level and ensured that lockdown rules are strictly implemented .
