Palakurthy, Nov.14 (PMI): BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has asked people not to get tempted for money and liquor and not cast vote for those goalmall parties as there will be a chance of people facing severe punishment for the next five years.
Addressing the Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Palakurthy in Jangoan district on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the vote we cast determines the future of Telangana and the people should cast vote wisely for those party which is sincerely working for the development of Telangana State.
Attacking the Congress party for failing to fulfill the aspirations of people since the Independence, the Chief Minister said that even though the Krishna and Godavari rivers were being passed through Telangana, the grand old party had failed to provide irrigation and drinking water to the people.
He suggested that the people should inquire what the Congress did in the past which ruled for 50 years and should cast vote wisely.
The Chief Minister also found fault with Congress for seeking the people to give once chance to power and said that the people had already given 10-11 times , but the Congress failed to provide basic facilities to the people.
Criticising the statement of TPCC president Revanth Reddy who said that three hours power supply is enough for the agriculture with 10 HP capacity motor, the Chief Minister said that majority of farmers were using 3HP and 5 HP capacity motors to their agriculture pump sets and asked who should buy these 10 HP motors.
“On par with the Dalit Bandhu scheme, we will surely implement ‘Girijana Bandhu’ for all the tribal who are leading their life without having land, job and other economic support,” KCR said. (Press media of india)
